Whilst Profhilo® and dermal fillers are made from the same substance (hyaluronic acid), they act in different ways.
Dermal fillers are more suitable if you want to add volume to areas of skin, or increase volume and reshape specific parts of the face (the lips or cheek areas, for example).
Profhilo® on the other hand is a more concentrated form of hyaluronic acid, but less of it is used than when used for dermal fillers. The role of the hyaluronic acid is primarily to hydrate the skin.
